Looking through the window of a gallery, I saw some eye-catching pieces by Niko Brown. I looked up the website later on and saw even more amazing pieces, and decided to buy a couple of the glass lollies. They came really quickly and were beautifully and carefully packaged. The communications were excellent and the lollies are wonderfully crafted and mounted, and are a lovely memento of my trip to Kernow. I surprised my family who were visiting with something out of the norm that we normally do… I found out about Nikos workshop and thought this is a must! And what a treat it was. We had the best afternoon and got to come home with our new art for at home (albeit a couple days later as they needed to fire the fused art). Tess done a solid job of teaching the group of the names of all the tools and different types of glass. Honestly a class day out and a must do when visiting Cornwall! My brother booked a private session for 8 of us, mix of young & old. What an amazing time we had! Tess, the group leader was very knowledgeable at what she does and we all had such a great laugh! What a memorable day, so glad my brother booked it and surprised us! We've all got a lovely handmade glass thingy to take home! If youre looking for a day out in cornwall. This is a must! We had the best time! My son and I did the family workshop and throughout the whole experience the 2 ladies that work there couldn't do enough for us, they went above and beyond! You can tell they are genuinely nice people who love their jobs. We loved the experience so much that we've booked to go again next week! The studio itself has lots of amazing artwork for sale, you could literally spend hours in there trying to decide what to buy! Highly recommended! Niko explained everything really clearly and we had lots of fun making the tiles. Such a lovely place! We visited for a workshop with Andrea who helped us each create our own glass coaster and overall we had a great time!! Would recommend as an activity when visiting Cornwall, or just to visit the shop where there is a selection of artwork on display!
