“Choreography of Chance”

I usually lean toward more structured and symmetrical layouts, but with this work, I wanted to capture a more natural, flowing energy, reflecting on a theme of a shared journey, but unique and individual experience. An accidental coming together driven by a shared destination.

This one has been a real labour of love. Each fish is individually hand-cut, shaped, then refined on the grinder. I’ve used a mix of enamels, powders, and frits to create the colours and markings, before firing them a final time for another 16 hours to smooth the edges.

I feel really excited about this new direction and can’t wait to explore it more!
