A Year in Glass: Our 2025 round‑up
As we wrap up another colourful year in the studio, we’re reflecting on the highlights that made 2025 so memorable. From your favourite fused glass pieces flying off the shelves, to our exciting rebrand and the expansion of our talented team. It’s been a year of creativity, transformation and growth that we’ve loved taking you along the journey with.
This year, our shelves shone with colour, but a few pieces truly stole the spotlight:
- Birds on a line – This limited edition print caught so many peoples eyes – whether at a show or online. You loved them and it’s easy to see why!
- Our Bee range– the ‘bee yourself’ and bee’s on a brightside pictures made wonderful gifts for friends and family. The colourful bees and flowers and affirmation quote are perfect for gifting and brightening homes.
- Make your own fused glass kits – years in the pipeline, we launched our first make you own fused glass Christmas tree hanging decorations. And the response was overwhelming, we weren’t sure if we’d sell one kit but we sold 45 kits and we LOVED seeing all of your designs come through. Next, we have big plans for more designs so keep your eyes peeled for those coming soon.
Each piece tells a story and we’re thrilled that so many of you chose to make them part of your own.
Our Rebrand: A fresh identity
2025 marked a turning point as we unveiled our new brand identity.
- A new name – the happy glass studio, Niko is still the artist and creator but we wanted the brand the represent our ethos – fused glass to make your smile. When we speak to our customers and hear their feedback, the response is often “it just make you so happy” and that’s exactly what we want to do.
- A refreshed logo and colour palette that better reflects the vibrancy of fused glass.
- Updated packaging and signage to create a more cohesive, professional look.
The rebrand wasn’t just about aesthetics – it was about aligning our outward image with the creativity and craftsmanship at the heart of our studio.
Team Growth & New Energy
Behind every piece of glass is a team of passionate makers, and this year our family grew:
- We welcomed two new members to the team to help in the studio with orders, making and marketing.
- Expanded our workshop offerings, giving more people the chance to experience the joy of fused glass.
- Strengthened our community connections by collaborating with local events and charities.
Our team’s growth means more ideas, more innovation and more opportunities to share the magic of glass with you.
