Welcoming Spring at our happy glass studio

Spring has finally arrived in Cornwall and with it comes that unmistakable sense of renewal—the longer days, the soft sunlight and the first brave flowers pushing their way through. In our happy glass studio, this season always feels like a fresh breath of inspiration. The world outside begins to bloom and suddenly our shelves fill with pastels, florals, and playful new designs that echo the energy of the season.

In fused glass, spring elements come alive. Transparent layers mimic the delicacy of petals. Opalescent glass captures the softness of morning light. Even the tiniest pieces of frit can become blossoms, buds, or bursts of color.

Every spring, our studio transforms into a garden of glass. This year, we’re especially excited about:

Floral panels and sun catchers

Perfect for windows and statement walls, these pieces scatter colour across a room just like spring sunlight through leaves.

Introducing “A Walk On The Beach” – our friendly beachy seagull who’s doing exactly that.

We love colour here at The Happy Glass Studio and we love making pictures to make you smile!

Each glass seagull and beach scene is individually formed, combining all the colours we love. Each panel is fused twice in our glass kiln, the second used to fuse our boy onto the panel as a unique & tactile nugget of joy!

Spring themed workshops

We love seeing beginners and seasoned artists alike dive into spring motifs. From floral tiles to butterfly ornaments, our classes are full of bright, joyful projects.
